Verifying your YouTube account

You won't be able to upload and use your own thumbnail images with your YouTube videos until you verify your account.

  1. Go to youtube.com/verify.

  2. Enter your Google Account credentials to sign in.

  3. On the Authentication verification page, select your country. Select Text me the verification code.

  4. Enter your phone number. Click Submit.The verification code will be sent to your phone.

  5. Enter the verification code. Click Submit.
