Updating your WordPress installation
Keeping your WordPress installation up to date is vital for keeping your website secure.
When a major update to WordPress is available, you'll need to perform the update. (Minor updates will happen automatically.)
From the Dashboard click Dashboard and select Updates.
If an upgrade to WordPress is available, click Upgrade Automatically. Allow the update to run.
